Blog #1 Why I choose to buy my Aeon Mira 9 laser machine

I started my journey as a crafter about 6 years ago. It all started with simple things like making cards for my family and friends. This quickly progressed to more complicated projects such as making Vinyl T-shirts, hats and mugs. I was always drawn to the creativity and satisfaction that came with crafting. I had no idea how much I would enjoy the process of crafting or how much satisfaction I would get from creating something with my own two hands.

Within a year I became very proficient in making sublimation keepsakes. I bought a lot of my material from various vendors. One day a light bulb went off for me to make my own laser substrates. I did some research and settled on my first laser which was the Glowforge Pro. After a few months I quickly outgrew that laser and conducted more research.

This time around I wanted a commercial laser that would last and offer amazing support. I thought I found the perfect laser I even put money down and signed a contract. Turns out it was not the one I was looking for. After that I looked around some more and came across Aeon Laser USA. This time I asked a lot of questions and was very pleased with the results. One of the selling points was that the laser fit in my downstairs office. Aeon had many lasers to choose from and I choose the Aeon Mira 9.

In my next post I will share my 1 year experience and the upgrades I chose to run my machine efficiently.  It’s been a wonderful journey so far and I’ve loved every minute of it. I’m excited to see what the future holds for my business!

I look forward to following your story more. I am very interested in getting started with a laser cutting business myself.
